Ask your shop a question, in your own words

Kulna Assistant sits in the back office and answers from your own books: how yesterday went, why profit fell, who owes you the most. When the answer is something to do, it prepares it as a card, and nothing is saved until you press Confirm.

What you ask, and what it does

  1. How was yesterday? The day’s sales, profit and expenses at a glance
  2. Why did profit fall this month? The change, broken down into what moved it
  3. Record an expenseAn expense card with its type, amount and account, saved when you confirm
  4. A photo of a supplier’s billThe lines read and matched, and a draft purchase order to check
  5. Who owes me the most?Customers by balance, and WhatsApp reminders ready to send
  • Answers from your figures

Sales, profit, expenses, cash and bank balances, stock, and what customers and suppliers owe, for any period and branch. It compares two periods and explains what moved a figure up or down.

  • Reports and charts on request

Ask for the income statement, the balance sheet, an aging or the stock list and it runs the report, with PDF, Excel and CSV downloads, and draws a chart of a table when a picture says it better. Send a report to your own e-mail, or as a link to share on WhatsApp.

  • Record an expense in a sentence

“Paid 50,000 for electricity from the cash box” becomes an expense card with its type, amount and account. Or photograph the receipt, and the assistant reads it for you.

  • Bills from a photo or a PDF

Attach a supplier’s bill and it reads the supplier, the lines and the totals, matches the lines to your products, and prepares the new products and a draft purchase order for you to check.

  • Day-to-day changes, confirmed by you

New prices for one product or a whole category (with a warning below cost), a new product from a photo of its pack, a stock write-off, a transfer between branches, a supplier or customer payment, a quotation, and WhatsApp payment reminders to overdue customers.

  • Arabic first, and English

Write in Arabic or English and it answers in the language you wrote in, in plain Arabic with the words shops use. Suggested questions to tap, such as “What’s running low?” and “Who owes me the most?”, get you started.

Kulna Assistant is in the back office on Professional and Enterprise, and on Business with the Kulnabooks AI add-on. Reading bills and receipts from photos is on Professional and Enterprise. It is for owners and managers (cashiers do not get it), each person has a daily number of questions, and it can be turned off for the whole shop. It can be wrong: check a card before you confirm it.
